Prignano Cilento is the first village that one meets when entering the Cilento National Park. It is situated on a ridge that overlooks the sea and the mountains.
Thanks to the excellent service roads, highways and rail transport from our village you can easily reach all the places of interest such as Capri, Pompeii, Paestum, Velia, the Royal Palace of Caserta, the Certosa di Padula, the caves of Castelcivita, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast and the Cilento coast with our beautiful villages of Palinuro, Marina di Camerota and Licosa, all with wild golden beaches and crystal-clear blue waters.
There is the possibility of organizing excursions in the beautiful forests of chestnut trees and oaks in the mountains of the Cilento National Park. It is a place with a unique mix of legend, history and nature. We must not overlook the excellent cuisine of Cilento and its famous "Mediterranean diet".
Prignano is famous for its "Fico Bianco del Cilento" (white Cilento figs) and great wine "Aglianico" produced at the winery of the renowned De Conciliis. All these aspects offer the visitor a pleasant and peaceful holiday, and have contributed to Prignano receiving the ‘Cilento Blue Flag Award’.
